DUBLIN, CA — Dublin will host the Tri-Valley’s first summit on artificial intelligence on Aug. 29, the city announced in a news release.

The idea to host a summit was conceived after recording an episode of the Startup Tri-Valley podcast. Saurabh Kuman, the founder and CEO of Dublin-based Rezolve.ai, and the two podcast hosts – Dublin Deputy City Manager Hazel Wetherford and i-GATE Innovation Hub Executive Director Yolanda Fintschenko – decided that a summit would be the perfect venue to highlight how much technological innovation is coming out of the Tri-Valley.

“Starting our company right here in our backyard in the Tri-Valley was a fantastic personal and business decision,” Kumar said in a statement. “By the end of recording the podcast, I realized that we should be doing more to highlight what a great place this is for companies working in artificial intelligence, such as Rezolve.ai.”

“We have so many exciting things happening in the city of Dublin and in the Tri-Valley,” Wetherford said in a statement. “It’s important to highlight achievements of the companies that call Tri-Valley cities like Dublin home. Even more important is taking the opportunity they offer the community to learn from their expertise through events like the AI Summit.”

“Artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI, has importance to every industry,” Fintischenko said in a statement. “Our Tri-Valley startup ecosystem is strengthened because we can connect experts in many deeply technical fields to each other and to the broader business community through events like this.”

The summit will take place from 4-7 on Aug. 29 at Patelco Credit Union Corporate Headquarters at 3 Park Place in Dublin. It will feature a networking reception, preceded by a panel titled “A Resilience-Centered Framework Built on Generative AI,” moderated by Pleasanton resident Jason Sydow, a partner at Next47.
